  TPES ENROLLMENT FOR NEW STUDENTS AVAILABLE DURING SUMMER OFFICE HOURS
Students planning to enroll at TPES for the 2014-2015 school year can begin to enroll at the TPES Office. This includes Transitional Kinder students.

Summer office hours are weekdays, 8:30am - Noon.

 PAPERWORK PARTY FOR ALL TPES FAMILIES - 8/27
REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW & RETURNING FAMILIES
This event is an effort to streamline the process of filling out required paperwork for all TPES families at the beginning of the year. The event will be at the school from 5:00-7:00pm. Families new to TPES should register/enroll in the office before the event.

TPES Foundation information will be available, and TPES t-shirts, sweat shirts, and Jamba Juice can be purchased during the event.

 NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION - FRI, AUGUST 29TH
If you have a new student attending Torrey Pines Elementary, please attend the New Student Orientation at 9am in the school Auditorium. 

Principal Sarah Ott will be on hand to welcome you to TPES and will introduce you to teachers and staff members. School tours will also be available after remarks are completed.

Foundation President Karen Krampe and other Board members will also be on hand to highlight Foundation programs, and volunteers will be present to answer any questions you have. For more information, please click here.
 POSTING OF CLASS ROSTERS - FRIDAY, AUGUST 29TH
Class rosters will be posted at the Office on Friday, August 29th, after 5pm. If you are out of town and unable to stop by the school, class rosters will be added online over the weekend and announced on the website homepage.
 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL/PARENT COFFEE - TUE, 9/2 
The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2nd. The first bell rings at 8:25am, with the tardy bell ringing at 8:30am. 

Make plans to arrive at TPES a little earlier than usual the first week of school, as traffic will likely be heavy, and parking is limited.

Make sure to stay after the tardy bell rings for this year's first Parent Coffee. Reacquaint yourself with old friends and meet new parents!
 NEW FAMILIES AMBASSADOR INFORMATION
Is your family or your child new to Torrey Pines Elementary? Liliana Galindo is this year's New Families Ambassador and welcomes you to the school! Feel free to email her if you have any questions. 
 RUNNING CLUB BEGINS TUESDAY, 9/9
One of the most popular programs at Torrey Pines Elementary begins the first full week of school! Meet at the TPES Blacktop to walk or run laps before the first bell rings.

 MUIRLANDS SIGN UP DAY - THURSDAY, 8/28
Muirlands Middle School will be opening its doors for its annual Sign Up Day on Thursday, August 28th from 8:00-11:00am and 3:00-5:00pm. 

This is an opportunity for all Muirlands students to get a chance for students and families to sign up for activities, take a campus tour and meet Principal Harlan Klein. For more information about Sign Up Day, please click here

Families new to Torrey Pines Elementary - and completed a TPES Foundation Form - now have access to the Foundation site. Accounts for families leaving TPES have now been turned off. 

Please check your email for a confirmation email. For gmail accounts, TPES-related communications may be going into the 'Promotions' folder and NOT in your Inbox. Please take a moment to take a look. If you are still not receiving emails, please contact our Communications team asap.
 
If you have not already completed a form, please download the TPES Foundation Form here to obtain login access to the website, school directory and to sign-up for our electronic newsletter. TPES parents who are having difficulty logging on can reset their password on their login screen or can follow up with our Webmaster at tpeswebmaster@gmail.com.
