I am so very happy that Torrey Pines Elementary stuck with me through the terrible illness, and sudden loss of my dear child, Scott. I just can't thank Sonya Keeling enough for jumping in with both feet, making it possible to keep the liberary open. What a kind person! Ms. Dailey.

The Foundation funds a qualified full-time librarian Ms. Dailey.The collaboration between Ms. Dailey and classroom teachers instills a love of reading and provides information literacy skills to our students.  Research supports this and shows that school librarians influence reading scores, and students can visit the library before school and at recess.
