WINTER AT TPES!
I hope you and your family had a wonderful and restful holiday break.  The kids seem to be refreshed and excited to be back at school!

We had an Awesome Science Night for our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders on January 31st. And don’t worry, our kindergartners, 1st and 2nd graders will have a special night this spring!

WOW! I think our two-night winter Music program was the most highly attended yeat! Thank you Ms. Tang and TPES students for sharing the TPES music program with us!

OUR LIBRARY

We would like to thank Sonia Wainwright for stepping in to make sure our Library is up and fully functioning for our kids!  If you see Sonia stop by say “Hi!”!

BE A PART OF THE TPES EXPERIENCE!

If you haven’t had the opportunity to volunteer and you would like to, we would love your help!

Room Parents are great resources for finding out about the specific classroom teacher volunteer needs.

You can sign up to help in the Art Room, team up with a friend and sign up to serve dinner and goodies to TPES families at the Winter Concert, or help us make the Walk-A-Thon a fun event for TPES students.  Have you noticed we have new TPES logo apparel?  You can sign up to help sell apparel or help with Pizza Wednesday.  If you are at school on Wednesdays, we can use your help with the transition hour for Wednesday Enrichment.

There are so many ways, please see our master volunteer signup site here>> . Thank you to all who give their time and energy to the TPES community!

TPES FUNDRAISING

HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER

Our Holiday Online Auction was a great success, and proved to be a great way for TPES families and friends to do some convenient holiday shopping! Thank you to Karen Krampe and Amy Hunter for chairing the Auction and all who helped to make the event a success.

WINTER FUNDRAISER COMING SOON!

Our next big Foundation fundraiser will be our Heart & Sole Walk-A-Thon on Valentines Day!  The kids can get involved in raising money for TPES by writing letters to family and friends! Underwriting our Walk-A-Thon is a great way to make a direct contribution to the Foundation.

ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN FUND UPDATE

We have reached 91% of our total Annual Campaign goal.  Participation at every level is an important part of the Foundation’s ability to support technology, art, music, PE, curriculum enhancements smaller learning groups and more!  Thank you to all who have donated in support of enhanced learning for TPES students! The foundation will be sending out current financial news related to next year's state and district budget situations over the next month. As funding continues to get even tighter, we appreciate your financial support more than ever to maintain our small class sizes in particular!

QUESTIONS?

As always, I hope you will continue to feel compelled to find one or more ways to be involved! Please contact me if you have questions or comments.  I would love to hear from you, and meet you if I have not already!
